Diesel Militias are expected to keep control of an area until the Diesel Military arrives, though since they're simple civilians the military usually arrives to celebrate a Pyrrhic victory.

Have been thinking about this picture again, and the comment of the town watch noting some campfires in the distance. What I'm suggesting is a stand by the militia against these invaders. They have built a redoubt from an overturned farm wagon, logs and boxes. She's standing up, ready to hurtle a grenade with her right hand while gripping her war axe with the left. Maybe a militiaman's body draped over the wagon and a dead enemy trooper lying before it. The woman has a bloody scarf around her forehead and a hasty bandage around her upper left arm. And the whole image could be entitled, 'The Stand'. Just a thought should you run out of ideas.
